Found! By the dedicated unearthers-come-preservers over at Super Disco Edits, Ellis Hall Group's original song 'Those Passing Words' appears in vinyl form once more. First cropping up in the summer of 1978, this lively septet lent a restored faith in the modern soul movement of the time, and this was a stirring that perhaps first came about after the band appeared on the TV show Nightshift, as part of which Super Disco Edits first heard this brilliant track. Restored from the original tapes but given a fresh re-rub, the track is paired with 'What Will I Do' on the B-side; despite their rambunctiously bright power-piano chords and sung mentions of being propelled into higher planes of consciousness, the songs were criminally not issued until now; clearly Super Disco are doing God's work.
