Chicago's Noname is one of the most standout rap talents of the last decade. She has been that way since her debut album Telefone in 26 and backed it up with 2018's Room 25, which is what gets a long overdue reissue on vinyl here. The record has songwriting and production that goes way beyond its predecessor and finds the rapper serve up her bars in conversational almost spoken word style. It lends the record an intimate feel and allows the smart as you like wordplay to really hit home.
