Released on the 5th of October 1970, this Lp was to define the 70's hard rock scene... & what an album!! Entering the UK charts at the No. 1 position.
Most of the songs on this album were composed in Bron-Yr-Aur, an 18th-century cottage in Gwynedd, Wales during the mid 70's, after a hectic North American tour.

The Vinyl:

VG+.
 There are just light marks to the vinyl, which very occasionally provide some light background noise...Nothing at all to ruin my enjoyment of a fantastic album-just the odd light and soft revolutionary pop, but only in the background. The very start of side 2 is a little crackly but again-nothing offensive as it fades into the background once the track gets going.
I gave her a gentle vacuum clean, followed by an ultrasonic bath I then had the utter pleasure of listening to her all the way through-LOUD-!! I wasn't dissapointed....Even quiet in the run-ins and inbetween tracks too. Nothing to worry about at all :)

ORIGINAL Plum & Orange labels. They remain deep and rich in colour.
Minimal hole wear and the light spindle marks,  visible when angled towards the light and looking for them...To the side 2 label, there is some rubbing out of what I assume was a name before-not too offensive: please see the detailed images for yourselves.

The Cover:

 Original GATEFOLD cover with the wheel-which still works. The wheel does appear to possibly be loose within the sleeve, but as I said-it still works fine.
The gatefold sleeve is wonderfully clean and remains solid...It carries the correct ATLANTIC DELUXE blue stamp to the bottom right corner-showing this to be a first printing run and not a later one.
FULLY LAMINATED GATEFOLD.

The Inner:

It is the ORIGINAL inner from 1970, with the "Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous" statement in a box to one side and with poly-lining...NO SPLITS AND NO WRITING (One tiny pen scribble of around 1.5cm to one side).

SO,ZEPP FANS-HERE IS AN ALL ORIGINAL HEAVY WEIGHT SLAB OF ZEPPELIN VINYL WITH GOOD SOLID AUDIO AND COMPLETE WITH A WORKING WHEEL COVER.
ALL COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL INNER TOO.
