ITEM DESCRIPTION This offering is for a VINTAGE 1984 FRANK ZAPPA THING-FISH 3XLP BOX SET BARKING PUMPKIN RECORDS SKCO-74201 VG+. This 3 LP Boxed Set album, Barking Pumpkin Records (SKCO-74201) is in Very Good Plus condition.  I play-test every record that I list all the way through all sides and I strive to accurately report actual condition and their effects if any on playback.  Vinyl is generally bright and shiny with several discernible inconsequential scuffs and/or scratches which have no significant impact on the quality of the music.  All 6 sides play all the way through without skipping.  There is some very minor surface noise and an occasional click here and there, mostly in the dead wax and softer passages.  Playback is generally excellent providing a highly enjoyable and pleasant listening experience.  Box is in generally Very Good condition with some minor creasing and minor shelf wear (See photos for detailed views); it is clean and all corners are intact.  Original inner liners are in Very Good condition with minor wear, but no tears or edge splits.  Libretto booklet is in Very Good Plus condition.  Matrix Side 1: SKCO-1-74201-Z5 #1 SLM JM Δ8309 1-1 818 PUMPKIN 0; Side 2: SKCO-2-74201-Z5 #1 JM SLM Δ8309-X 1-1 818 PUMPKIN 0; Side 3: SKCO-3-74201-Z5 #1 SLM JM Δ8310 1-1 818 PUMPKIN 0; Side 4: SKCO-4-74201-Z5 #1 JM SLM Δ8310-X 1-1 818 PUMPKIN 0; Side 5: SKOC-5-74201-Z5 #2 SLM Δ8311 JM 1-2 818 PUMPKIN 0; Side 6: SKCO-6-74201-Z5 #2 SLM JM Δ8311-X 1-2 818 PUMPKIN 0. GOLDMAN GRADING GUIDE

Mint (M)

The record and sleeve are flawlessly perfect. To qualify the record must never have been played or is still sealed.

Near Mint (NM)

The record and sleeve is nearly perfect.   (NM) Has no imperfections during playback. The record should have no signes of wear. The sleeve can have minor imperfections but no splits, folds or scratches.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

The record will show signs that it has been played and handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Any defects of cosmetic nature does not affect playback. But the sound quality should play perfectly. Sleeves might have slight wear with small seam split or folded corners. In general the record plays perfectly but has some aesthetic wear to the sleeve or inlay.

Very Good (VG)

The records defects will be more pronounced. Surface noise will be evident upon playback, especially in the soft passages during intros, but will NOT overpower the music.  Wear will be noticeable, such as light scratches that affect sound. Sleeves and labels will have obvious wear with tape, writing or stickers.  However a (VG) record will not have all these problems at the same time.

Good Plus (G+)

The record is in good condition. It can be played all the way through without skipping, but it will have significant surface noise, scratches,  crackling, or visible wear. The sleeve or original covers will have significant wear, seam splits, writing, or tape.  (G+) will not have all of these problems at the same time
