Type the name Boban Petrovic into Discogs and you'll come across a Serbian producer and selector whose 1984 album Zora racks up quite a pretty penny amongst the collectors community. Kudos then to Belgrade crew Disco Not Disco who have reissued the album with the official blessing of Boban himself for the interest of those partial to some Balkan Disco but not at the premium prices the original pressing is listed at. Petrovic's work is new to us and it may be new to you but fans of the weirder strains of disco will resonate immediately with this eight track set with plenty of material you could envisage Alexis le Tan or Young Marco slipping in their sets.
