Jimi Hendrix
Electric Ladyland, Uk Polydor Pressing Made in 1973
This is the best copy I have ever seen and it has the appearance of a brand new record bought from HMV today, except it is over 40 years old and has been very well preserved.
The records in my opinion are Near Mint and certainly not below Excellent Plus. The surfaces are jet black and only a couple of feint hairlines can be seen under a light more on Record one than Record two, any hairlines have occurred from being removed from sleeve. No scratches whatsoever, Both Records play very well. They certainly have not been played more than three times on the best quality equipment, they have been treated with great respect. I am very sure that whoever ends up with this copy will not be disappointed with these records.
The Sleeve is also in Near Mint Condition, just the very lightest of shelving wear, slight mark on top right corner few small lines on top of laminate. There is no tears or creases. The spine has not been crushed at all and it is still as thick as it was in 1973. When opening the gatefold, you can hear the sound of the laminate crackling, as if it has never been opened. As seen in the pictures the cover is very glossy and very clean, it would really blend in with all the brand new records being sold in HMV today, but it is over 40 years old.
This Album is a great album and it seldom turns up in this condition as most normal music fans would want to play this, however the person who owned this must have decided he wasn't Hendrix fan after playing this once or twice. This came from a collection I bought recently with many other nice Uk pressings in great condition some of which will also be offered for sale. There is a set reserve on this one which I feel to be a very good price for a top quality album, if it doesn't sell I will happily put it back in my collection.
