Gene Clark and Doug Dillard

“The Fantastic Expedition Of Dillard & Clark"  (A&M SP 4158 Stereo)                       First US Pressing

Iconic Byrds co-founder Gene Clark's first solo LP after leaving The Byrds.

Vinyl:  VG++

    Superb sound quality on this LP.  Superficial paper scuffs are apparent on the wax but do not impact the sound.  A great sounding, well recorded LP.

    Labels are bright and clean.  Very minor spindle marks.   (See photos)

Jacket:  VG+

     Overall clean look.  No seam splits.  Slight ring wear evident at bottom of sleeve front and back but otherwise this jacket is in very fine condition.   (See photos)

Comes with generic paper inner sleeve.

This is a classic Gene Clark offering, recorded shortly after he left the Byrds (for the second time) ... in mid 1968.  This copy is in outstanding condition. You will be very hard pressed to find a finer copy.  I hope it goes to a loving home.

My Profile / Policies:

Music is my passion.  I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.

All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.

All are play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.

As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.

 Payment expected within 3 business days of auction closing.
