Gene Clark and Doug Dillard
“Through The Morning Through The Night" (A&M SP 4203 Stereo) First US Pressing
Iconic Byrds co-founder Gene Clark's LP after leaving The Byrds. Includes Sneaky Pete and Chris Hillman.
A favorite of mine. Personally, I like it better than the first Dillard & Clark release, though both are a joy. A special heartfelt recording.
Vinyl: VG++
Superb sound quality on this LP. Superficial paper scuffs are apparent on the wax but do not impact the sound. A great sounding, well recorded LP.
Labels are bright and clean. Very minor spindle marks. (See photos)
Jacket: VG
Overall VG look. About two inches of seam split along the spine and about 1/8 inch of seam split on corners. Some ring wear evident at bottom of sleeve front and back but otherwise this jacket is in fine condition. (See photos)
Includes original inner sleeve in excellent condition.
This is a classic Gene Clark offering, recorded about a year after he left the Byrds (for the second time) ... in 1969. This copy is in fine condition.
My Profile / Policies:
Music is my passion. I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll. Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.
All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.
All are play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.
As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.
All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
Payment expected within 3 business days of auction closing.
