Roxy Music    "Country Life"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Atco SD 36-106 from 1974.      This was their fourth album.      The labels are yellow with black printing.   This comes in the original front cover.    The lyrics are printed on the custom inner sleeve.

The band is : Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andrew Mackay, Paul Thompson, Eddie Jobson, and John Gustafson.        This album was produced by Roxy Music and John Punter.     The cover design is by Nicolas de Ville, with photography by Eric Boman.      

The songs are : The Thrill Of It All, Three And Nine, All I Want Is You, Out Of The Blue, If It Takes All Night, Bitter-Sweet, Triptych, Casanova, A Really Good Time, and Prairie Rose.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is VG+

The cover is VG+, with no ring wear, no writing, and no seam splits.         There is a big saw cut at bottom right, a bump on the bottom left corner, and a pin hole at top center.    The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+, with some handling marks and light static in the quiet parts.         The labels are clean with no spindle marks ( there is tiny split in the side one label at the center, but that is the way it came from the factory).       The record comes in a custom inner sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling records in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'.       My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.      I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
