ELVIS PRESLEY - GROUP LOT OF FOUR DIFFERENT ALBUMS, INCLUDING “ELVIS” (LPM-1382), "ELVIS GOLDEN RECORDS" (LPM-1707), "G. I. BLUES" (LPM-2256) AND "HARUM SCARUM" (LSP-3468). THEIR DESCRIPTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
ELVIS (LPM-1382)         RECORD: G+ with numerous scratches & scuffs, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. Expect audible "ticks" and general surface noise, nonetheless. This is a First Pressing from the Indianapolis pressing plant with original "Long Play" labels. There are just some spindle marks as well as fingerprinting. This album, Elvis' second, was released in November of 1956 and includes the smash hit, "Love Me". The matrix numbers on this record end with 1S/12S.       COVER: VG- with a lengthy upper seam split that has been repaired with invisible tape some time ago. There is also a lower split of approximately 2-1/2 inches. The spine is sound, although some cracking is observed. It is mostly legible with wear. The original owner had placed his address label to the upper left corner on the back. There is no writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover, but there is some light soiling and foxing seen on the back.              INNER SLEEVE:  A plastic sleeve used during the 1950's & 60's.

ELVIS' GOLDEN RECORDS (LPM-1707)
RECORD:  VG- with numerous scratches & scuffs. Although none of these can be felt with the fingertip, expect a good amount of audible "ticks" as well as general surface noise on this Hollywood pressing. This appears to have been someone's most favorite album! the labels are without any stickers or writing, but have many spindle marks. This epic album was released in April of 1958 and includes all of Elvis' biggest hits from 1956-57. the matrix numbers end with 6S/6S.
COVER:  VG with a 5-1/2-inch upper seam split. There is no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover. There is no visible ring wear on the front, but the back does show some very light ring wear. This is the very first cover variety for this album, with no "RE" on the back side, following LPM-1707.
INNER SLEEVE: The original RCA Victor sleeve from the era. It has three edge splits along with some old tape residue.

G. I. BLUES (LPM-2256)
RECORD:  VG- with numerous scratches & scuffs. Like the above record, none of these scratches can be felt with the fingertip, but expect some definite audible "ticks" as well as general surface noise upon play. The labels on this Indianapolis pressing remain attractive with just some light spindle marks and some fingerprinting. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in October of 1960.
COVER:  G+  with a complete lower seam split as well as a lengthy upper split that is not quite complete. Three short strips of black tape wrap around the spine toward the upper portion of the cover. A few bend marks are visible on the front as well. There is no additional tape along the edges, writing or staple holes.
INNER SLEEVE: A period-correct, gray RCA Victor sleeve from the era.
HARUM SCARUM (LSP-3468)
RECORD:  VG+ and very glossy! This Hollywood pressing was test-played on two tracks, "Harem Holiday" and "Kismet", which each have a scratch that can be felt with the fingertip. Neither of these scratches cause any skipping or repeats, but do result in audible "ticks" that do not override the audible performance. The vocals and instrumentation are strong and clear! Being that this is a Hollywood pressing, the labels are superior in that they show "Expanded Credits", as described in Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana VIII" (2017). The labels are very clean, but do show some spindle marks. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in October of 1965. the matrix numbers end with 4S/6S.
COVER:  VG++ (EXC) with solid edges as well as a fully legible spine. There is some light ring wear on the front and even lighter wear seen on the back! Corner tip wear is noticed. This is a very attractive and fully original cover with absolutely no tape, writing or staple holes!
INNER SLEEVE:  The original "ELVIS' Great LP Catalog" (40B) sleeve from the era. All three edges show splits.

GOOD LUCK!
