A 1st pressing of 'Shaved Fish' on the UK Apple label. Matrix 1/1. In addition to the UK 'YEX' stampers there's the U.S. catalogue number too - "SW-1-3421-Z9". This dual matrix layout is the most telling sign of an early 1st pressing. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover also including the original shaped inner sleeve. 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) This is one amazing slab of vinyl and has clearly only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection we could barely make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice an quiet and the audio comes across with top level clarity. Interference is minimal all we could detect was a touch of light static at the start of 'Imagine' and also during 'Mother' - but even this is very very minimal. The mastering of this LP is absolutely superb and due to the level of preservation you will be treated to an unrivalled level of playback.
Cover (Ex+) Again this Lp has clearly been looked after very carefully indeed. The cover is shiny like new with almost no signs of use. I seriously doubt you will happen upon a better example. No ageing or wear. Perfect rigidity. The spine is entirely intact. This is one superb specimen!
Inner (Ex) In great shape. No ageing or nasty marks on the white side. Just one 1c.m. split to the bottom seam. That really is all.
