Hello
there! Many thanks for perousing my items! When you've looked here, you
might like to check out some of my other items, I have some other very
rare Beatles etc. items currently listed with many more to come, heck,
I'd even suggest you add me to your favourite sellers to keep on top of
all the goodies that I'm going to list over the coming months!
I have collected
records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised
that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise
my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities
over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and
PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare
records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had
negative feedback, and had many repeat customers. I will only post completely insured and tracked.
This week I'm selling many Beatles/Kinks/Yardbirds Etc. 7" rarities.
Here
we have ne of the rarest late 60s KINKS singles, SHANGRILA b/w THIS MAN HE WEEPS TONIGHT.
RECORD
CONDITION: EX-, As anyone with this single will testify, being that the A-side takes so long to build, the sparce beginning brutally shows any poor quality pressing (like some foreign pressings), and especially shows off any marks. This copy has been beautifully cared for, a couple of very light surface hairlines on the A-side, and also a slight pressing defect (a very small spot that hasn't properly mel;ted down into a perfect surface), but the audio is really great! The B-side has two small marks about 20 seconds in, which are very slightly audible, but this is still a strong audio copy! RECORD
LABELS: VG, Let's get the worst of it over first! The original owner has written "No 30" on the A-side label, and there is a small abbrasion next to it (possibly it was from a sticker removal, although these pale ble lables would usually show a residue of that too) Interestin that "No 30" has been written on, as I was under the impression that this record didn't reach the top 30! These late 60s light blue labels show off any ring-wear that ever happens to them! I've had ex-stock copies of things with these labels that show a darker ring at their high point (about mid-way out), but this copy isn't too bad, it does show slight age related mottling, but is still quite decent, especially being what style/colour of label it is!
SLEEVE
CONDITION: VG+, the very decent and pretty crisp original matt blue Pye company sleeve of this record, no writing/stains/rips etc, just a light handling, and edges are holding strongly.
DEADWAX INFO: A-Side: C 1 7N17812 A-1 /\G
B-Side: E 1 7N17812 B-2 /\G
The KT tax code it written in both Deadwaxes.
Any further question please don't hesitate to ask! Thanks again, and why not check out my other items?! River.Dog
