TWENTY YEARS AGO, in 2000, Iron Maiden released an album titled 'Brave New World'. They welcomed back singer Bruce Dickinson, who had left the band for a few years. Dickinson returned in 2000, and hasn't looked back since!

This album had a single released called "Out of the Silent Planet". It came out as a 7" picture sleeve single, as well as a picture disc. The 7" had two different picture sleeves, with Eddie at the podium being the limited one. Then the 12" picture disc with a rather presidential pic of Eddie came out. Since the album is celebrating that THIRTY year birthday, AND this being an election year, Eddie stumping on the campaign trail just seemed...well...perfect!

The A side is the title track, and Eddie (for president 2020? Hahaha) at the "presidential" podium, and a space scene on the B side, with song titles and credits. The B side also has TWO live tracks on it! Face melting Iron Maiden music, on a special limited edition picture disc, and Eddie running for office. How cool is that?

This comes with its original die cut sleeve, as well as a poster flat added to the package. The poster flat is the size of an album jacket (12" X 12"), and is wild and colorful! The vinyl looks great, with only a couple of very light surface marks that I can see. Not sure of the sound quality, as I never play picture discs. But this type of thing was released to promote the record, and not really meant to be played. The die cut sleeve and poster flat both look great, with no tears, folds, or hand writing on them. A sweet Maiden collectible, from 30 years ago, and a great find for metalheads everywhere!
