Tester de Violencia is the eighth studio album by Luis Alberto Spinetta as a soloist and the 21st in which he has a decisive participation, released in 1988 by Del Cielito Records. It was considered by Spinetta himself as a concept album centered on the theme of violence, compared for its internal coherence with Durazno sangrando. It was presented on November 25, 26 and 27 at the Broadway Theater in Buenos Aires. The album had a massive sale and was voted the best of the year by the Annual Survey of the Yes Supplement of the Clarín newspaper, while the song "El mono tremendo" was considered the best of 1988. The songs "La bengala perdida" and "Al ver verás" were included by Spinetta in his concert Spinetta and the Eternal Bands in 2009, with Mono Fontana as a special guest in both.
