Piece of Mind is the fourth studio album by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It was released on May 17, 1983, reaching number three on the British charts. The cover features his classic Eddie from the group's album covers, this time in an insane asylum tied to the walls of a padded, straitjacketed cell. It is clearly possible to appreciate in a few covers of Iron Maiden, a strange symbol like the one on this cover ¨Piece of mind¨ in which a large circle with a smaller one in the middle of it, an arrow pointing towards a line and two circles on the sides. Still people don't get to see it on the back cover, in a part of the strait collar, which is still too small to be seen. Also on other covers like Iron Maiden (album) which is more noticeable on the back wall. This symbol is the signature of Derek Riggs.
