Sydney based Australian fuzz-punks Gee Tee operate best when imagined as the band in the bar next door; loud, brash, tinny and most likely not your thing. That's until you take one step into the sticky-floored dive bar and realise that the sound from outside really hasn't improved all that much, and that's precisely the point. Snot-nosed, energetic, raw and compressed beneath layers of indecipherable fuzz, the consciously lo-fi garage-punk the group conjure, complete with cheap synths and obnoxious levels of attitude, comes to full snarling life on their latest full-length Goodnight Neanderthal. This is powerpop for the unwashed masses who still want to mosh and fight and Gee Tee implore all levels of debauchery whilst instilling their signature brand of gritty singalong hooks and earworm sugary goodness.
