ELVIS PRESLEY - "ELVIS PRESLEY" (LPM-1254) - This is the album that really launched Elvis' career and every track on this album was released as a single! This is a First Pressing From 1956.

RECORD: VG+ First Pressing showing several light surface scratches and sleeve scuffs, but played great upon test-play! The vinyl retains full, original gloss. The labels are clean and highly attractive, with just spindle marks being the only item to note. This is an Indianapolis pressing with matrix numbers ending with 6S/5S, respectively. 

COVER:  VG with no seam splits evident upon initial inspection. Looking closer, one can see where a 4-inch split at the upper seam had been very well repaired. This was done so well, that only a trained eye could spot it! The remainder of the seams are sound save for a 2-inch break at the lower edge at the center. The spine is fully legible and the front and back surfaces are clean. There is no tape, writing or staple holes present. This is the very desirable cover variety that shows "ELVIS" in Light Pink and NOT "Neon Pink", which appeared in 1959. This is truly an iconic album of early Rock n' Roll performed by the King himself, very early in his career. A real "must-have" for the collector of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia.
