BRAHMS / BACKHAUS / THE VIENNA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA / BOHM - " PIANO CONCERTO NO.2 " , The Decca Record Company Ltd. (SXL 6322) Stereo, 1967.
Very rare, original 1967 first English Stereo issue of this Decca LP, with the original front laminated sleeve and "Made in England by..." label text (the earlist label design for this particular '67 LP).
Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and put in a
new poly-lined inner sleeve (with the original retained to keep it
complete, of course).
CONDITION:
VINYL = EX- (No deep scratches, groove damage, excessive surface
noise, distortion, etc. Clean labels with just a couple of very light spindle trails. Under the scrutiny of a bright grading lamp there are some faint paper scuffs and a few very faint hairline surface marks. Generally it plays well - strong, clear and without any serious interuptions, but as the record played out in it's entirety there were few faint background ticks and crackles. Overall though, whilst not perfect, still a great record with plenty of life left in it for somebody out there to enjoy.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I
have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is
quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee
exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE
= V.G.+ (In reasonable shape, no monsters creases, tears, etc. There are a couple of thumb creases and a couple of others in the lamination, some wear to the edges and the back is both grubby and suffering a "B.King" written in blue pen -
see photos for further
clarification)
NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical
record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading
records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now
selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding,
please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is
worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to
check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I
have made in the past.
ANY QUESTIONS? PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!
HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!
