This is an auction for a rare VINTAGE PRESTIGE JAZZ LP - SONNY ROLLINS WITH THE MODERN JAZZ QUARTET - PRESTIGE RECORDS PRLP 7029 MONO WEST 50TH ADDRESS ON BOTH DEEP GROOVE LABELS AND BACK COVER - ORANGE FRONT VERSION COVER. REMASTERED BY RUDY VAN GELDER WITH "RVG" HAND ETCHED IN THE TRAILOFF DEAD WAX OF BOTH SIDES. PERSONNEL INCLUDES SONNY ROLLINS KENNY DREW PERCY HEATH ART BLAKEY AND THE MODERN JAZZ QUARTET MEMBERS. The record is visually graded as excellent overall with just a few very light marks - VPI cleaned and PLAY GRADED MOSTLY NEAR MINT-. Sound is great overall. Labels do show some spindle marks. Cover is VG+ with light ring and edge wear and a 3" split at the bottom right and a few light discoloration spots on back. Color on front is very nice.
