I am selling some of the records I've had for many years in my great collection. Here's a copy of The Doors Waiting for the Sun on the Electra Gold label from 1968. This the original pressing in the gatefold unipak. The Label has the BIG E, and "STEREO" is printed on both sides of the label. CAT# EKS74024A-AL and B-AL consecutively. AL meaning this LP was pressed in the Allentown plant. The LP is in great NEAR MINT condition with no visible marks at all to the vinyl. It plays beautifully, and really takes you back to the time. The LABELS are perfect. It looks like it had received little to no play at all, which is remarkable for such an amazing LP. The COVER is also NEAR MINT with full shine to the cover front and rear. The top left corner has a small bend/bump, which is visible on both front and Rear. And, the bottom left corner has been pressed in a touch. Also, the rear cover has a small pressed indentation in the middle of the track listings by the time for Summer's almost gone. The inside gatefold has a couple black marks from pressing against the opposite side. These are all minor issues for an amazing LP like this, but needs to be said. The LP also comes with it's original ELECTRA BROWN INNER in NEAR MINT CONDITION. The Doors were a definitively American band that lasted only a couple years. The story of The Doors is one of the recklessness and self demise of Jim Morrison. He was influenced by the beat poets, as well as LA bands like Arthur Lee's Love. This LP was their 3rd LP, and their only #1 record because of the hit HELLO I LOVE YOU. EVERY DOORS LP IS ESSENTIAL TO OWN. And, this is a beautiful playing copy in outstanding condition.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LPS FOR SALE NOW ON EBAY. I AM POSTING SOME TREASURES. SOME ARE RARE AND COLLECTIBLE, AND OTHERS ARE JUST GREAT ALBUMS.
