Superb, UK-only 7inch by NYC recording duo, Robert Temple and Margaret Conway. Features alternative edits of this early '80s underground club and London pirate radio anthem. Crossover disco, beautifully structured rhythms and vocals with a hybrid modern soul cum electronic dance sound. Boogie funk bass, handclaps, twitchy drum machines and floating synth strings all mixed with dexterity by T.K. Disco engineer, Mike Arato. SideA is the version with the infectious cowbells and disco rap over the final phase. SideB is more jazzy and deconstructed, like a Larry Levan style instrumental dub but contains vocals and agogo bells too. For the UK issue, the song title was also rearranged, most probably to emphasis the main lyrics of the chorus hook. Great for DJs. Disc cut loud with big production sound. Please check our other current auctions for the Katie Kissoon - You're The One - boogie disco 45, also on Jive :)

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
RECORD - shiny, strong VG++ regardless of some faint hairlines and a cosmetic-only scuff mark across sideA / some faint pressing blemishes (no doubt machine generated from the original pressing process) / disc cut loud with big production sound / some natural light background noises

SLEEVE - original, laminated stiff card UK Jive label company sleeve is strong VG+ with general wear from storage / overall still sharp looking / ring creasing / corner and edge wear / no seam splits / item from the archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan, hence the archive pen notation to one side
LABEL - bright looking / minimal wear / a few faint old dirt marks from storage

After a 2 year gap, Pourquoi Moi Vintage is back :)
