Fan Club release, great 1977 performance, from the soundboard tape source. Quality is really impactful for this type of release, but there are some bad edits on some tracks. Some q.c. notes, there are pops and clicks on all the sides. The Blue label album has an issue during “No Quarter” this the reason why I rate the vinyl “fair”.
Blue label Side A and B is pitted. My cartridge skipped in one spot in the song “No Quarter” do to the vinyl pit. I increased the tracking force and it played through but it makes a thump/pop for 6 or 7 revolutions then plays to the lead out groove.
Take a look at the picture it’s easy to see.
Please don’t buy just move on if you can’t adjust your tracking force or some thumps/pops will bother you.
If you are a collector or a fan perhaps these issues may not bother you and if you know about this release you might be aware of the editing issues as well.
