TOM TOM CLUB Self Titled Debut 1981 Sire SRK 3628 Vinyl NM Cover EX Really Nice!
Great 41+ year old copy of this important album. A first pressing from the Capitol L.A. pressing plant. The vinyl looks pristine and rarely if ever played. The Cover has tiny corner dings, but no creases or losses. A hole is punched through at the top corner that denotes an in-store play copy. The inner sleeve is a generic poly, completely intact. A fine copy to play and collect.
Founded by husband and wife Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth as a side project from the Talking Heads, where David Byrne ruled. This debut album had great success at Dance Clubs, and R&B and Modern Rock radio. The track “Genius of Love” was a huge world wide Dance hit that still resonates today.
