Ice Cube Slim did a radio show on community radio station KUSP-FM for 10 years, from 1973 - 1984. This led him to start his own booking and management company, Bon Ton West, which lasted until 2004. Over that 30 year period he worked with many blues and R & B artists, mostly from Texas and Louisiana, including Professor Longhair, Clifton Chenier, The Neville Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Hank Ballard and the Midnighters, Katie Webster, The Rebirth Brass Band, Irma Thomas, Earl King, and many more.

Cube was very fortunate during that time to develop close friendships with such artists as Ray Charles, James Brown, and B. B. King, among other top names of the genre.

Now in his mid 60's Cube is ready to find good homes for much of the rare memorabilia that he has collected over the last four decades.
