Fellow audiophiles up for your consideration is a rare and factory sealed pressing from John Mclaughin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra "The Inner Mounting Flame". This was their first studio album recorded in 1971 and consisted of all original songs by McLaughin, accompanied by Jan Hammer, Rick Laird, Billy Cobham and Jerry Goodman.  If you are a fan of their early work or the Jazz Fusion or Jazz Rock genre's then you will love this album. After extensive research I was unable to determine the exact issue date of this pressing as it shares the catalog number with the current re-issue (2008) minus the barcode. This is a true analog pressing and not to start a debate but I personally prefer the original sound over the digitally sourced re-issues I have heard. I purchased the album in 1970's. The record is part of my personal collection and has always been stored in a mostly dust free smoke free and climate controlled environment (not a warehouse).
