A 1st press on the UK Capitol label from 1961. Matrix 1N/1N. Stampers 1O/1R. Tax Code 'OT' => 1961.  This copy does NOT hold the 'Sold In The UK..' statement which is indicative of 1st issue. The stampers also indicate it is also a very very early pressing of this LP. The record comes housed in an original cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse.  A really amazingly well preserved specimen.
Vinyl (Ex+) Wowzers someone's taken really good care of this LP! 55 years old, but by god you wouldn't believe it by looking or playing it....Under close inspection there's barely a mark either side and it has clearly seen only minimal use. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. The audio quality is beautifully rich with great dynamics. You're going to struggle finding one that plays anything like this. Interference is very very minimal we only detected a couple of light crackles the whole way through. It is a real corker in every sense.
Cover (Ex) Yet again it is beautifully preserved for its age. Lovely and shiny front with minimal edge wear. The only noticeable deterioration is some light fade on the extreme right of the front and some light ageing to the rear. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. I can't imagine there are many knocking around in this kind of condition.
Inner (Ex) No splits and minimal ageing.
