THIS LISTING IS FOR:
.
JOHN FAHEY
Death Chants, Break Downs & Military Waltzes
.
PIEDMONT / TAKOMA Records C 1003
Original 1964 issue • MONO LP
B&W PASTE-ON COVER ART • FIRST LABELS
CORRECT "UNION" SEAL (w/"6") on BACK
Cursive "Lss" etched in dead-wax both sides

VINYL is VG+
Extremely clean high gloss vinyl has a few very light, small surface scuffs revealed under hard bright light. Bright distortion free audio with some mild underlying surface noise, light crackling heard in portions, as is common with early Takoma pressings. No pops, loud or repetitive tics. Labels are very clean both sides.
.
COVER is VG+
Black stock cover with paste-on b&w wrap-around cover 'slick' (actually, open-tooth, un-slick, thick paper stock) is snapping bright and spanking clean with no wear, creases, writing, dinge or soil. Right side, front has faint moisture stain; very light; back has a couple of small, pea-size blemishes in black cover stock, not very noticeable. All edges straight, all corners sharp. Seams and spine 100% intact with crisp, sharp, complete spine titles; no wear or splits.

PLEASE NOTE:
Any Grainy or Mottled appearance in PHOTOS is purely due to my low-light photo conditions.
Photos of Labels, (close-up shots) and Vinyl (camera unable to resolve the grooves properly in low light),
are especially affected. Please know that this is from digital photograph limitations effect only.
Labels are actually extremely clean and smooth with perfectly sharp, crisp text print.

*
indeed the 'mottled' effect is such that the above mentioned tiny blemishes (at extreme left edge of back) are almost indistinguishable in photo from the absurd 'topography' that my camera imparts to black or very dark colors; especially on a textured background.
