An original 1st press of McCartney's debut on the UK Apple label. Matrix 2U/2U. Stampers 1-GT/2-AH. Please note this is the very first cut of this LP - there is no known lower matrix number. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original fully laminated gatefold cover. It is thought that the very 1st batch of covers left the printers with the 'Gramophone' credit on the rear. Also included is the original white inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely superb condition and has clearly seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. McCartney's debut is chock full of low-key acoustic numbers and any copy exhibiting a bit of light static is really going to intrude on things. Thankfully this copy is preserved in top class condition. We didn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments [literally]. 
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front and back only exhibiting a couple of light creases. The interior is immaculate. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains a fine example of the very 1st issue.
Inner (Ex) No issues. No splits.
