An original 1st press of Looking Back on the UK Decca label from 1969. Matrix 2/2. Stampers 1C/1BB. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold Clout and Baker cover. Also included is the original blue and white Decca inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex+) Well, this is the sort of copy you can only dream about! Shiny like new and has clearly only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. And this is where it gets really good...Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. The transparency of the audio is absolutely staggering with perfect reproduction through all frequencies. A truly remarkable record. Interference is almost non-existent - all we detected was a couple of crackles [literally] the whole way through.
Cover (Ex+) Again someone has taken great care of this cover down the years. Lovely shiny front and rear with hardly any creases. The interior is in equally remarkable condition. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains perfect rigidity. A beautifully preserved example.
Inner (Ex-) Fine. No splits. Touch of ageing.
