A 1st press of Sticky Fingers on Rolling Stone Records. Matrix A4/B4. Etching 'Rolling Stone Records'. Please note the labels make no mention of 'Promotone' - this is indicative of 1st press. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Richard Davis printed cover with zip gimmick and pinched spine. Please note the zip is in good condition and is in full working order. Also included is the original credits insert and an original inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is practically non-existent and this makes for an amazing rendition. 'Wild Horses' plays as clean as you could possibly hope for...All we detected was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - i.e.. very little at all. It is a terrific little player and nigh on impossible to go better.
Cover (Ex) In remarkable condition and has clearly been carefully looked after down the years. Ageing and wear is common on this title, but not here.... the image is sharp and the print has not dulled. Edge wear is very light and all text on the spine is still legible - this is not an easy find. The flap at the top on the front is still intact with a couple of creases and overall the cover retains great rigidity. A truly superb specimen by any measure.
Insert (Ex) Barely an ageing at all. No issues at all.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No marks or splits.
