An original 1st press of Lizard on the UK Island label. Matrix 2/2. Stampers 1-T/2-L. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original E J day cover with wide-spine. 
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close there are a couple of marks - nothing really noticeable or feelable. A thorough testing reveals a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. The main deviation which we need to be clear about is the first 20 seconds of the record - the spoken word intro. It's a wee bit crackly - slightly more than I'd like. But this appears to be a brief issue and at 20 seconds it totally drops out of the audio. You will then be treated to some very decent audio for the remainder of the record. There will of course still be the occasional spot here and there where there's a touch of light static. But by and large, if you can live with that initial 20 seconds, it's a very decent player at an attractive price.
Cover (Ex) In great condition and has clearly been looked after. Lovely shiny front and rear with only a couple of tiny laminate creases. The interior is only exhibiting the slightest handling wear. Edge wear is pretty minor and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
