An original 1st Press of Wildlife on the UK Island label. Matrix 2/2. Stampers 1-H/2-MG. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with the correct 'Basing Street' address on the rear. Also included is the original 'patent no.' generic white inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of marks either side - nothing heavy though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. The audio is very nice and clean for the most part. The only interference we could pick up was a touch of static just creeping into the last couple of tracks on side 1. And then the one deviation is a few ticks in the outro to 'Home Is Where..'. But either way it is still a lovely rendition of the Mott's third outing...
Cover (VG+) Looks to be in great condition. A lovely clean front without creasing or surface wear. The rear is nice condition with just a slight sticker removal mark in the top-right corner and number '47' written in the extreme top left. The interior is in decent condition - just some handling wear. Edge wear is reasonably light. There's a bit of wear on the spine but most of the text is still legible. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Bottom edge has been taped up. Then one side split - 1 inch.
