An original 2nd Issue of "Pastoral" from late 1963. The 'Sold In The UK Subject..." statement is apparent and the tax code is 'MT' - which would ordinarily place this copy into 1963. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original flipback cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A beautiful clean rendition with very little to find fault with. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is very minor and infrequent. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A very well preserved low-mileage copy. Why shell out £70+ on the 1st issue when you can get a perfectly well preserved 2nd issue for a fraction of the price..
Cover (Ex) In great shape with only a couple of creases on the front. The rear has escaped the usual fading. The only vague issue is a tiny tear to the bottom right corner of that flipback. It's all glued down and secure so no problem at all. Edge wear very light and the spine 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
