An original 1st issue of Low on the RCA label from 1977. Matrix A2/B2. Etching 'Sterling'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Garrodprint Ltd. - with a track listing sticker stuck on the rear. Also included is an RCA inner sleeve from the time, NO insert though.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In very nice condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a few of those very light marks [bag-rash type] - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. This really is a very well preserved low mileage copy and it plays very clean. Interference is very minor. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments e.g. final seconds of the outro to Breaking Glass. Even very fussy tracks like Warsaw play back pretty clean - and that is a difficult to find. This is definitely a cut above the average copy....
Cover (Ex) Has been well cared for down the years. The front is in excellent condition with barely a crease. The rear exhibits only the very lightest of handling wear. Edge wear is pretty light and all the text on the spine is still all legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat.
Inner sleeve (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits or markings.
