An original 1st issue on CBS in STEREO from 1964. Please note very 1st pressings can be found pressed by Philips, a year or two earlier. Not the best copy going by any means...BUT the stereo copies from '64 are pretty few and far between. Any buyer needs to appreciate, first and foremost, the historical/rarity aspect of this LP. It comes housed in an original <STEREO> cover with flipbacks. There's also a mid sixties CBS inner.
Vinyl (Vg/Vg-) In reasonable condition, but has clearly seen a fair bit of use. A few marks either side - but nothing heavy or troublesome. The audio is nothing more than 'OK'. What I would term VERYGOOD.... between VG & VG-. Expect some consistent crackle in quite a few sections. It's never invasive to the extent of ruining the track - but it is definitely audible. The buyer needs to appreciate this and particularly the historical/rarity angle from this period. Expect a couple of clicks in a couple of spots per side too. Otherwise not too bad overall.
Cover (Vg) Nice clean shiny front with only a couple of minor creases. The rear exhibits a bit of the usual ageing, but is in otherwise pretty tidy condition. The spine looks good with text still mostly legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Looks nice with only lightest ageing. Two inch bottom edge split.
