An original 1st press of Transformer on the UK RCA label. Matrix 1E/2E. "Stereo" mentioned at the top of the label - this has to be present to be 1st issue. The vinyl comes housed in an original Clout& Baker cover. 
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In superb condition and has clearly only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a few light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. The audio is really good, not quite clean enough to make the top grades, but should suit anyone who is not super critical. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. I only detected a bit of consistent light background in "Andy's Chest" & 'Make Up' & 'Wagon Wheel'. Other than that expect a sporadic bit of light interference in the occasional place - only the very quietest moments. But a pretty clean and assured performance all round. A keeper for sure!
Cover (Ex-) A really sweet looking original example which has survived the years in super condition. Nice and clean back and front with little creasing or wear, and just a touch of ageing at the foot. Edge wear is very light for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is looking real nice with pretty much all text still legible and just three stress creases. A very fine example which will impress no doubt...
