This is "STATIONARY TRAVELLER" by CAMEL , UK 1st press Vinyl LP
It is the 1st Press vinyl LP, purchased on its release in the UK in 1984.
The LP is an original first pressing on the DECCA record label, numbered SKL 5334, and the matrix numbers in the vinyl runout are:
side 1: ZAL 18099 A 5 ∇ 420 , AND ETCHED WITH "BAA"
side 2: ZAL 18100 B 1 ∇ 420
This 1st press UK release is documented on the DISCOGS website.
I use the "Record Collectors Grading System" which can be viewed on the Record Collector website.
I use "+" and "-" to provide a more precise grading, where a record sits between 2 grades.
VINYL
Audio Quality
During play test, it played like a new record, quiet between tracks, and is hence rated Near Mint for audio quality.
Visual Appearance
Visually the vinyl looks like a new record, with no visible spindle marks on the label.
There is just one barely-visible fine hairline surface mark on the last tracks on side 2 - however this does not affect the sound quality.
The vinyl is rated as EX+ for visual appearance
COVER
The cover has a clean, matt finish.
The cover has just some wear on the spine, and very minimal wear on the edges
In excellent shape for a record that is over 35 years old, and the rating for the cover is EX
INNER SLEEVE WITH LYRICS
The LP comes with its original inner sleeve with lyrics (see photos).
This is unmarked and is rated EX+
The record will be posted in a MusicMAX STRONG LOCKTAB RECORD MAILER.
