An original 1st press of AWOOO on the UK Columbia label. MAtrix XXX. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with flipbacks exposed. We also have an original inner from the mid-sixties [Decca not EMI though].
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen lightest use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slightest deviation. A beautifully clean player - this copy is very low-mileage. Hardly a whiff of background throughout - and you really need this on an acoustic release like this. I picked out a couple of crackles in a couple of spots per side. And one isolated tick in 'THIS LAND'. But it sure as hell is the best copy you're going to ever get your hands on<<<<
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In excellent order too - 1965 covers do not often surface looking like this. A lovely clean and white front with barely a crease. The rear has almost entirely avoided the ageing process. Just a couple of foxing marks on that lower flipback. Hardly any edge wear and firm openings. The spine is 100% perfect. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
