The Dave Brubeck Quartet Time Out original pressing from 1959 in mono This copy is in Good condition, it has been well played in it's 62 years and shows a lot of wear and scratches- lots of popping and surface noise. The jacket is in Very Good condition, the seams are in tact, no deterioration of the spine- title printing is still legible and easy to read
This pressing features all of the hallmarks for a first pressing from the year 1959 as listed on Discogs
Cover has black bottom printed edge and excludes "featuring" text at the top
- Labels have red and black "six eye" design
- Track titles and center justified
- Fabricator code "5" printed on rear sleeve at the bottom-right
- Center label does not have "CBS" under the Columbia logo
there are several variations of the fabricator code printed on the bottom right back cover, 1, 3 or 5- this one has a 5, and there are many variations of the matrix printed or etched into the dead wax of the runout, this copy has:
Side 1, Matrix stamped XLP 47853 1BB Side2 , Matrix stamped XLP 47854 1AL
also includes the original Columbia Records paper vinyl sleeve
