An original 1st issue from late '77 on RCA orange label in the UK (whilst still charting). Matrix 3E/5E. 'Daves RCA'. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover. We also have the original inner sleeve date coded to 11/77. And There's the original credit insert too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very slight marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of minor deviations. Plenty of copies will look great - yes yes...so does this one. But do they play great too? You really need a very clean player on this title. A few brief crackles as side 1 starts in B&B...but it clears out quick. A really very impressive copy which will do a great job of revealing ALL the atmosphere which is so enthralling from this Bowie masterpiece. The fussy tracks like Silent Age and Moss Garden play great too and these are very hard to find playing clean. Then there's 'Doubt' which is nigh on impossible to find properly clean. But this copy manages a pretty good level with occasional static crackle/flutter here and there, a couple of minor ticks, all low in the mix though. To be frank -  this is about as good as I've witnessed it...it's so super fussy. Overall - very impressive. Most copies, even good ones, will struggle with a consistently great delivery level like this example manages.
Cover (Ex) In super condition with clean and flat surfaces front and back - you don't see many at this standard. Pretty much unaged too - a real looker. In all respects this cover is in excellent condition. Hardly any edge wear and sharp openings. Spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Wowzer.
Insert (Ex) Superb - very impressive.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits.
