This is the vintage 1984 Columbia Masterworks re-mastered, re-issue of Gould's original 1971-73 stereo recordings of these suites. Even better for sale here is a First Edition with imported, highest-quality Dutch Pressings of this coveted 2-LP re-issue. Disk deadwax mechanically stamped 1A-1 (Side 1) 1B-1 (Side 2), 1C-1 (Side 3), and 1D-1 (Side 4) indicating very First Pressings from the upgraded, vinyl remasters of the original analog Stereo tapes. Visual inspection under bright light shows disks appear Near-Mint, indeed Flawless retaining a high-gloss vinyl sheen on all sides. No visible imperfections of any kind. Play grading shows all sides project super-clean stereo sound with very, very few ticks or pops anywhere. A Great listening experience. The soloist's renowned (and oft-rebuked!) quirky humming during recording can hardly be heard anywhere! Stout 2-LP Box is also near-Mint as well with still glossy front face and Seams Intact all round. Not a Cut-Out or Punch-Out. Original inner, plastic-lined Columbia Masterworks Audiophile sleeving. This is just a superlative, Near-Pristine pristine copy of the entire ensemble.
