"VELVET UNDERGROUND" original self titled vinyl lp on verve V-5008 mono, with Andy Warhol designed cover, has "sunday morning, femme fatale, waiting for my man, venus in furs, heroin, i'll be your mirror, etc. record is lower grade with marks and scuffs, but actually plays fairly well, with crisp vocals and music, some surface noise that the music does overpower somewhat. gatefold cover has the clearly visible torso photo that was deleted on later pressings, front cover has the unpeeled banana but is missing the top stem part. has a full upper seam split, and a name written on the back as well as some age discoloration here and there. but overall an extreme rarity of an amazingly ahead of its time lp.
