A near perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear, near perfect labels and only slight signs of handling.

The cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable defects. No cut-out holes or cuts. The inner sleeve should have no more than the most minor manufacturing defects.Inserts, posters should look new.

Excellent (EX OR EX-)

A record, cover,sleeve,insert or poster with only the most minor of defects and is close to NM,looks great and plays great, but isn't quite NM.

Very Good Plus (VG+ OR VG++)

The record will show some signs that it was played and handled with good care. Record surface may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect play or listening experience. May have some surface noise in soft passages. Minimal warp that do not affect the sound.The label may have some wear that is barely noticeable. The center hole should not be misshapen by repeated play.

The cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be have a cut-out hole or a slice cut, slight indentations, corner bumps or a slight seam split. Inserts,posters and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners.
