David Bowie "Merry X-Mas Mr Bowie" ~ Limited Edition 1LP Red Vinyl Pressing (40 copies only)(With Rare B/W Booklet & Glossy Booklet with Poster)(Very Rare)
I obtained this album new in 1984. I placed it in a high quality click-seal sleeve and stored it upright. I did not play this album as I had another copy on black vinyl.
This red vinyl release of "Merry Xmas Mr Bowie" is one of the rarest of this type of release. Only 40 copies of this red vinyl pressing were made. This limited edition album also comes with the 10 page A4 black & white booklet. This specific copy also comes with the 12 page glossy A4 booklet with enclosed poster. See the photographs.
This album rarely comes up for sale and in this case you have the even rarer opportunity to purchase an excellent copy that has been stored upright and enclosed in an air-tight high quality click-seal plastic sleeve since it was acquired new. Serious bidders only please.
Condition of the vinyl: Very Good++/Excellent (Visual Inspection). The vinyl is glossy, clean and shiny. The red vinyl is exceptional. The disc was not played. There are some marks on one side of the album that appear to impact track 1, the centre of that side and towards the run out. I am not sure what they are and they were on the album when I obtained it new. I do not have the chance to play the album now to verify the impact. That is why I give the Very Good++ grading. Some manufacturers and distributors of this class of album did not take that much care of the albums so it was not unusual for these types of albums to be in less than pristine condition when your received them. Quality control was not always a major priority. 
The plain labels are clean and immaculate. There are no spindle marks. The white sleeve insert is crisp and clean. It is essentially in the same condition as when I obtained it new over 30 years ago. See the photographs.
Condition of the sleeve: Excellent/Mint. The full colour glossy sleeve is in excellent as new condition. There are no tears, seam splits, creases, bends or major flaws. See the photographs.
