CHEECH & CHONG were a comedy act during the 1960's & 1970's. CHEECH MARIN & TOMMY CHONG met in Vancouver, Canada in the late 1960's. CHONG is Canadian and lived there. CHEECH moved there from southern California to avoid the draft. They met and started working together and in 1987 they broke-up. Their catalog of material was lost in the 2008 Universal Studio fire.
