Very rare promotional (NOT FOR SALE) David Bowie vinyl  on MERCURY label produced by Blue Mink. This version of Holy Holy has only ever been officially released on this 1971 single.

Lyrically 'Holy Holy' offers a revealing early example of Bowie's fascination with the writings of Aleister Crowley.

Although the single did not trouble the charts it did secure Bowie a contract with Chrysalis who's executive Bob Grace considered the track fantastic.

Bowie promoted the single.on Granada TV on 20th Jan 1971 wearing the Mr Fish dress (as per MWSTW original England album cover) and played acoustic guitar.
