Unfortunately I need to cash in on some of my record collection to help fund my retirement and to make matters worse my car tax and MOT is coming up as well so (very reluctantly as I thought Jimi was GREAT).........................
For auction here is a nice UK copy of The Jimi Hendrix Experience double LP 'Electric Ladyland' and issued in the UK on the Track label 613008/9 in 1968. Many debates have gone about what constitutes an original pressing of this. General opinion seems to be that the white text copies are the originals as this appears to be how they were distributed to staffers before general release (including Jimi apparently). This is a BLUE text version which I understand is a lot rarer. The white text also had small pictures of Mitch and Noel and this one has the large pictures. Interestingly, after reading-up in forums a comment was made that on the blue text copies you can see where the track listing has been 'blacked-out underneath/next to the blue text. This is the case on this copy as "Side A:1 Still.." can be seen next to 'Side B:1.' text and further down "3. Come On" just before '4.Voodoo Chile'.  So, this begs the question how on earth did this happen? Was the running-order changed and original 'wrong' sleeves 'blacked' over or was a it just a mispressing by Ernest J Day &Co?
This was ONLY released in Stereo as stock copies. Apparently Mono test pressings exist.

Matrix numbers are as follows:-
Side A 613008 9(crossed-out) 8 A//1 1 2 1 2 all stamped Side D 613009(9 crossed out)8 B//1 1 2(?) 8 all stamped Side C 613009  B (etched) 613009(crossed-out)8 A//1 (all stamped and crossed-out with xxxx)1 (?) Side D 613008(crossed-out)9 A B(crossed-out)//11 C J
The laminated front, back and inside cover is VG+, there are no tears, no stickers and no writing. There are laminate creases, some minor corner wear, some very slight roughness along the opening side and some visible ringwear. Please do NOT expect a MINT copy. It is however still a decent sleeve.

The records comes in plain white sleeves patent 800513 and 973939. One is intact but has a little foxing whilst the other is missing the inner polythene and is torn.
The vinyl is VG+, there are marks on all sides but generally it is a nice copy. There are clicks but a professional clean might be able to get rid of quite a few of these. Again it's NOT mint so please do not expect a crystal clear mark free copy. However it shouldn't disappoint. Side A is a bit noisy at the beginning but is soon overpowered by the music, background noise can be heard in the quiet parts.
The labels are fine as are the spindle holes. There are some spindle marks.

Please bid with confidence as I have a 100% positive feedback rating.
I am willing to post multiple items abroad which will be tracked and signed-for. Payments for this method go direct through Paypal as Ebay's GSP does not cater for multiple item sales unfortunately.
I try to adhere as closely as possible to the Record Collector Magazine grading system which is shown below as a guide. I do ad + and - to gradings for intermediate conditions. Any record described as 'Mint' will mean 'Unplayed'. RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM Mint (M)The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.Excellent (EX)The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.Very Good (VG)The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptableGood (G)Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etcFair (F)The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.Poor (P)The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missingBad (B)The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
