Up for auction is a very nice original pressing of the David Bowie album Diamond Dogs, originally released in the U.S. on RCA/Victor (CPL1-0576) in 1974:
-Guaranteed original 1st pressing, not reissue -Original and correct orange RCA "dynaflex" labels -Original gatefold cover
-STERLING mastering stamp in deadwax -NOT record club pressing -NO UPC/bar code on cover
-Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve
Note:
Original U.S. pressings of Diamond Dogs have the CPL1-0576 catalog number and the STERLING mastering stamp--most copies sold as "original" on ebay do not have these attributes--they are reissues.

Condition: Cover looks very nice, with only light signs of wear or handling.  Light creases to top edge, and some light wear to bottom edge.  Back is very nice, light creases to edges.  Corners are sharp, not bumped, light rubbing.  Seams are nice, intact, no splits, light rub.  Interior is nice, clean.  Still an attractive, colorful original cover. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies

Vinyl looks very nice, still has its original glossy shine.  Both sides look very clean--under a strong light, shows a couple small, faint superficial hairlines on last track near deadwax probably from having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a few times.  Very nice sound quality for an original pressing!  No marks around spindle holes.  Looks like this record has maybe been played only once or twice previously but handled with care. Grade: Excellent (EX)

Combined Shipping
:
Yes, I offer significant combined shipping discounts.  Just ask!

International Shipping
:
Because of unreliable postal services, I ship using eBay's Global Shipping Program only, no exceptions.  It protects both the buyer and seller against loss or damage.

How I Pack Your Records:
I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing.  I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection.  I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
100% satisfaction guaranteed, no risk buying.  My 100% positive feedback allows you to buy with confidence.  Returns accepted, no questions asked.

About Me: -I have been a record collector for over 40 years and a seller on eBay for over 20 years.
-I consider myself a professional, not someone who is selling records he found at a garage sale like many on eBay.
-I try to grade accurately -- beware of sellers who claim they grade "conservatively" -- rarely is that the case.
-I don't just give a record a grade, but I also explain why I give it the grade that I do. -I explain why I describe a record as "original" or a "first pressing" -- most records on sold on eBay as original are NOT. -I visually grade my records, and sometimes spot-test them for audio quality -- I can't listen to them all the way through. -Every stereo system is different, and what sounds good on mine may not sound good on yours.  If so, return it. -Every seller makes mistakes not matter how much experience they have -- record selling is NOT a perfect science. -If I make a mistake, or the record isn't what you expected, return it for a full refund -- and I will pay for return shipping. -I have 100% positive feedback for a reason -- and I strive to keep it that way by being accurate about what I sell.
