Woolworths used to commission not so famous artists to record covers of contemporary hits of the day.
These are the titles;
Don’t you rock me daddy-o and The Banana Boat Song performed by The Cranes Skiffle Group.
Don’t knock the rock & Rock Rock Rock by Shorty Mitchell with Men Jones Rock ‘N Rollers.
The Green Door and Happiness Street by David Ross, accompanied by Ken Jones.
Just Walking In The Rain and A House Without Love In It by Billy McCormack, accompanied by Johnny Gregory.
The last 2 are by Eve Lombard, accompanied by Johnny Gregory and his orchestra, title on one disc are Whatever Will Be Will Be (Que Sera Sera) backed with The Birds and the Bees, the second disc has You Me and Us, backed with St. Theresa of the Roses.
Year on 3 of them is 1957, the other three are not dated.
