Led Zeppelin III was released in October, 1970. I purchased this copy within a month of that date and have had it ever since. So needless to say this is a first edition print. I played this record just a few times and then it was stored away so it is in excellent condition. No markings or scratches on the record. The record cover is also in excellent condition. It has a nice gatefold that opens out. The spinning wheel that came with the first edition copies is intact and works beautifully. The cover is still bright and clear. No markings, no folds, no cuts and no separations. Just a very, very slight tinge of yellowing. Even the edges show little to no wear. The original inner sleeve also looks excellent. No markings and no separations. Just one small crease in the corner. Even the usual yellowing that show up in most inner sleeves is almost non-existent. Anybody collecting 1st edition Led Zeppelin records would be most pleased to be able to add this to their collection..
